I am piecing a quilt. It’s the same quilt I’ve been piecing since 2001. I have 10 squares completed. I need a million. Maybe by the time I finish this quilt the style will be in fashion again. Maybe. Here I am in my Halloween costume that I designed and made All By Myself. The fabric is orange satin with black flocked spiders. The overlay is netting with black flocked spider webs. I found them at two different fabric stores and thought my plan to use them together ingenious. Seriously. A [...] Isn’t this adorable? How were they made? They are really very easy to make. They are made from gourds. And polymer clay And paint And dowels. And findings like fake fur, yarn, beads, ribbon and twine. You have time to make your own. Think how cute they’ll be in YOUR home. So get busy! Here’s the deal. I know I talk all the time about being MEAN Marie. Cause I am mean and hateful a lot of the time. But, and this is hard to admit, I do have a soft spot… Yeah, yeah.
