Today is my mama’s birthday. She is 69. She tells people she is 70. She believes she’s 70. I did too til I did the math. She’s really just 69. That made her happy. For Mama’s birthday I made her this ensemble: Adorable, huh? My modesty is immense. Much like [...] Do you remember my baby brother? This guy: Remember? My brother? The Prince of Darkness or P.O.D. for short? JOHN? The Crown Prince of Alabama (long story)? Big guy? Tall? Black hair and black eyes? (Seriously, his eyes are the darkest brown you’ve ever seen. They look black.) JOHN? Prince of Darkness? Crown Prince of Alabama? [...] Yesterday my family celebrated my birthday. We met at a local park and picnicked. After over-indulging on fried chicken and potato salad, we went for a walk. This park has insane hills. I thought I might just lay down and die after scaling one of them…twice! It was at the top of [...] My man’s birthday is today. He is a really awesome guy. Loves animals. Especially his bull. And his cows. He adores the beach. When I say he loves the beach, I mean he REALLY loves the beach. He loves it so much, we go there every time we vacation. My husband loves the water. He’s a Pieces. The water calls him. He loves to [...] A group of family met to celebrate Big Daddy’s Big 7-5. We ate at Longhorns. (Daddy’s favorite restaurant.) Daddy didn’t find out we were taking him out to dinner until a few hours beforehand. I didn’t tell him who would be attending.
