From the back cover:
Chloe Turner thought she was going to marry the perfect man-until her fiancĂ©’s plane crashed. And then she got
the really bad news: he’d tried to fake his own death to avoid marrying her. Now America’s most famous bridezilla (a tag she most definitely does not deserve), Chloe escapes to a remote island to avoid the paparazzi. And right next door is a man who just might be the cure
for Chloe’s heartache….
A magnet for wild, complicated women, Max Sullivan is relieved to have finally found someone “normal.” Chloe is his girl-next-door fantasy come to life, and best of all, she gets him. With her, he can be himself, a treasure-hunting millionaire who desperately wants out of his sexy but reckless job. But when Chloe’s notoriety catches up with them, will their torrid romance make it to the mainland?
I totally fell in love with this book.
I stayed up til the wee hours in the morning because I couldn’t stop reading. You know how as a kid you’d fight to stay awake so you could keep having fun? That’s how I felt reading Crazy for Love.
I grinned and laughed so much reading about Chloe and Max that my face hurt. Clearly, I need more Victoria Dahl books in my life. Laughing/happy people live longer. Crazy for Love extended my life months. Maybe even years.
I should also mention the heat Chloe and Max generate was enough to send me into an arrhythmia. Hubba hubba! And let me add, MEOW! I totally need a fan just thinking about some of those love scenes.
What really made Crazy for Love stand out as a recommended read is the storytelling. Dahl has a gift for writing. Lucky for us, she shares her gift. Go ahead, pick up a copy of Crazy for Love and block out some reading time. You’ll thank me for the recommendation AND Victoria Dahl for the experience.
